Over my study years, I developed a love and interest for online media and it’s relationship with fashion. My interest in the changing fashion industry in direct relation to the rapid change in the pace of media continues to hold my attention. In March 2008, I was encouraged by my lecturer at London College of Fashion to start up my own blog, so I could put my daily thoughts into words and document what was catching my attention in the world and media around us. As my travels and journey through different industry environments continued, so did my blog. I have written anything from the emergence of the underground street style blog in 2008 to newsworthy viral fashion campaigns in the retail industry.
My blog leans towards news and opinion writing and is the writing I naturally thrive in. I’ve been approached by Seventeen, O Magazine, Cleo and Clinique to be featured in their magazine/campaigns. I’ve also been asked to attend and cover local Fashion Weeks, fashion launches and seminars.
Visit my blog, that girl about town.
